This site contains the new online catalogue of the Liverpool Local Studies Collection, held by the Liverpool Record Office at the Central Library on William Brown Street.
It also contains reading guides that identify the most important books about Liverpool history, and explain how to approach research on a range of topics.
This project is a collaboration between the Liverpool Record Office and the School of History, University of Liverpool. Thanks to the generous funding of the Arts and Humanities Research Council, we can now make this unique resource available to all those with an interest in Liverpool’s history.
